4th of July Fireworks at Heritage Park, July 4, 2011
July 4, 2011 — The Stanwood Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present Stanwood's Fourth of July Fireworks Show!  This event is currently sponsored by WAVE Broadband, Viking Village Shopping Center, Roy N. Carlson, Inc., & Lenz Enterprises.   Patriotic glowsticks will be provided by Josephine.  Watch for more details coming soon!  Additional parking at Stanwood Middle School.  Please no personal fireworks, pets or alcohol.

Design Stanwood Inc. was formed in 2003 to bring together business owners, city government, service organizations, schools and community members to help plan for design and growth that meets the needs of Stanwood. We are working to bring about change in a manner that honors Stanwood’s past and builds a cohesive, attractive community for the future, making it an inviting place to visit, live and work.

Why should you be a member of Design Stanwood?
Members of Design Stanwood are informed of changes and projects within the community and are provided an opportunity to participate beginning at the grass roots level and continuing to completion. Here are just a few of the current projects.

  • Continuing to help develop our local economy by supporting our shopping local campaign and our new Slow Food and Music Festival..
  • Providing beautification and wayfinding signage for downtown.
  • Improvements to Highway 532 and the Mark Clark Bridge.

Design Stanwood plays an active role in these activities and welcomes your interest and participation.
